Pavel Minařík, blind 14-year-old musician, has been playing the piano since childhood.

At an early age, doctors diagnosed him  with a retinal detachment, means he is practically blind. While fate did not allow him to see, he got an incredible talent instead. Already in kindergarten for visually impaired children, he became interested in music. Here he got his first experience with music and various musical instruments. 

​

A year later the family bought a small basic keyboard for Pavel as a Christmas present, and he fell in love with it so much that in the age of X he performed on the piano at the Children Theater “Jeslicky”. His first performance was called "A Spectacle for the Ears". At the age of six, he took the exams for an elementary art school, where he completed a prep year and then was admitted to a piano class.

Pavel's long-term dream and his parents' goal is to have him study at the musical academy and, after the studies, to continue his musical career.  

​

An important milestone was when Pavel started to compose his own original music on various themes and to work with singers to co-produce music, for example with singer Meet-Kora.  

​

And his dreams are far from being small, like cooperation with international music producers, he would love to play with Czech star singers Marek Ztraceny and Monika Absolonova.

But his biggest dream is to be on the same stage and perform with Mr. Andrea Bocelli
